Sara and Don’s magical first dance!

Continuing with my Fall Wedding posts, I am so excited to share with you a fabulous Fall wedding where DJ Jay Sims and our team at Elegant Event Lighting were so honored to be a part of.  Sara and Don’s September 28, 2013 wedding ceremony and reception was a magical day indeed!  From a proposal at the “magic kingdom” to an amazing fireworks display at the end of the night…the fairytale wedding came true for this beautiful couple.

A perfect day!

An outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course at Turnberry Country Club was the perfect setting for Don and Sara to exchange vows in front of friends and family presided by Reverend Jim Rehnberg.  Three adorable flower girls held a “here comes the bride” sign which had everybody smiling!

During cocktail hour guests were greeted with a Signature Drink “The Miller Mango Cocktail” which was absolutely delicious…it was a beautiful orange color which tied into their fall wedding theme.  We were welcomed into the dining room with fall centerpieces from Town and Country Gardens, and the most amazing cake complete with diamond accents and a silver monogram cake topper.

Our team at Elegant Event Lighting created a gorgeous fabric backdrop, accented with warm amber uplighting and a beautiful monogram “M.”

After dinner, guests were again invited outside to see the most incredible choreographed fireworks display created by the groom and his company.  Guests were mesmerized…we could not keep our eyes off of this beautiful display…truly something we will never forget!  Talk about magic!!!

Something 2 Dance 2 DJ Jay Sims had the honor of  keeping the dance floor packed throughout the night.  Sara was such a fun bride, leading dances along with Jay and even donning a red feather boa!

Sara and Don chose the perfect favor for a cool autumn night…apple cider donuts and coffee for guests to enjoy at the end of a beautiful wedding celebration!  Thank you for sharing your magical day with us.  It was truly an evening we will never forget!
