Fountain Blue Packed DF

With Thanksgiving only a day away, I thought it would be fun to highlight some of the songs that I am thankful for.

1. Blurred Lines-Robin Thicke-Who doesn’t love this years “song of the summer!”  This song helped create many memories for brides & grooms…with packed dance floors and guests chanting “what rhymes with hug me.”  One of my personal favs in 2013.

2.  Can’t Take My Eyes Off You-Jersey Boys Soundtrack-This is my favorite version of the Frankie Valli song…it has a great beat and is the perfect 1st Dance Song!  I have amazing memories dancing to this song with Jay at our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary Party.

3.  In My Life-The Beatles-We used this song for our Bridal Party dance in 1997, but I really love when my groom’s use it as a Mother/Son song.  The lyrics are meaningful and the tempo is perfect.

4. The Way You Look Tonight-Frank Sinatra-A classic.  There are too many versions of this song to count, but my favorite will always be Sinatra’s.  I danced with my dad to this song at my wedding, and I always smile when I hear it.

5.  I Wish-Stevie Wonder-This is the perfect song to play early in the evening.  It’s cool and funky.  It was one of the first songs of the night to be played at our friend’s Kelly & Mike’s wedding in March, and Jay and I were one of the first people on the dance floor!

The song "I Wish" will always remind me of Mike & Kelly's Wedding.
