Creating a “romantic” atmosphere at your wedding reception can be as simple as adding warm amber lighting to your ballroom or as elaborate as covering every table with gorgeous floral centerpieces, but if you would like to personalize the romance factor at your reception, here are a few ideas for you.

  • Creative Table Names Take black and white photos at your favorite places and share the meaning of those locations with your guests. You could have a photo taken at the location of your first date, first vacation together, proposal location, etc.
  • Music Along with your DJ Entertainer, put together a dinner or cocktail hour playlist with songs that have special meaning to you.  Do you remember the first song you danced to as a couple?  How about the first concert you attended together?  Maybe you both love romantic movies…you could create a playlist of songs from your favorite flicks.  The possibilities are endless.
  • Showcase wedding photos of friends and family Decorate your Place Card Table or Sweet Table with beautifully framed photos of your parents, grandparents, siblings and bridal party members on their Wedding Day.
  • Chocolate! To me nothing is more romantic than chocolate!  Try a fondue station with strawberries, pineapple and other assorted goodies.  Your guests will enjoy this romantic treat after dinner.

Remember your Wedding Day is a reflection of you, so don’t forget to be creative, and never be afraid to suggest new ideas to any of your wedding vendors.
