The International Live Events Association (ILEA) was founded in 1987 to foster enlightened performance through education while promoting ethical conduct. ILEA works to join professionals to focus on the “event as a whole” rather than its individual parts. ILEA has grown to include chapters throughout the world.

The WIPA magic began in 2008, when two event professionals felt the wedding industry needed a not-for-profit member-run association that truly represents the wedding industry.  Within a matter of years, WIPA has grown from coast to coast and internationally.  WIPA is setting new standards of ethics, education, association conduct, and dazzling meetings!
