DJ Ron Fiedler

Being one of nine children, I grew up in a house that was always filled with music. Whether it was being a roadie for my brothers’ bands or making mix tapes with another brother, I have always had a love for music and the effect it can have on a party if done right.
I started my DJ career in 1990, shortly after an honorable discharge from the Air Force. At that time I still had to cart around milk crates full of records and a huge “coffin” to carry my turntables. I worked in a music store all through college and was always the person people came to with the toughest questions. I pride myself on knowing all genres of music and making sure everyone in attendance will have a chance to get up and dance.
I am the father of three lovely daughters ranging in age from 13-19. They keep me up to date on all the latest songs and definitely keep me young. I have been with Something 2 Dance 2 for 8 years, but have been a wedding DJ for over 20. My wedding day was one of the absolute best days of my life, and I feel my job is to make sure you feel the same way on your big day!

“I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about our experience with Ron from Something 2 Dance 2. From the very beginning of our planning it was as smooth as could be! My husband and I recognized at the start that Ron and the team were not only professional, but also passionate about their craft. The meeting with Ron before the wedding was just perfect. It completely put me at ease…He was able to keep the perfect balance of genres throughout the night. We also wanted to incorporate the Venezuelan tradition of “hora loca” (crazy hour) at 11pm and Ron was up for the challenge! He took time to let the crowd know what was coming so that everyone felt excited and ready to enjoy the experience! The music was perfect and went well with the marti gras feel of the hora loca! All I can say is thank goodness for Ron!”

“We had Ron for our wedding, and he was BEYOND PERFECT! Tamara and the whole S2D2 team was so easy to work with and incredibly well organized- their online planning portal was so helpful for us. We were planning our wedding from out of state and Ron even Skyped us to have our planning meeting so we didn’t have to make a special trip down. He was so responsive to all the little last minute changes we made, and even called my mom the week before the wedding to calm her nerves. During the wedding, not only was the music EXACTLY what we wanted, but he made sure that all my important people were there to watch first dance etc, and he just made the whole night run so smoothly. They even brought fun props to replace the glass-clinking for a kiss- we had a mini putting green on the dance floor that the kids and adults alike had a blast with. The dance floor was packed the whole night! Couldn’t have been happier with our choice in DJ- HIGHLY recommend him and S2D2!!!”
